Brief Introduction
Our ductile iron manhole cover, shaped under high-temperature mould with pressure, is a kind of ductile iron products, and nodular cast iron obtains nodular graphite through spheroidization and inoculation treatment. Ductile iron manhole covers are generally divided into round and square, which can be made from nodular cast iron GGG/7, gray iron, etc. Its degree and load capacity include A15, B125, C250, D400, E600, F900. Its cover size covers 300×400×30mm, 300×500×40mm, 400×600×40mm, 450×750×45mm, 400×400×35mm, 500×500×35mm, 600×600×35mm,etc. In terms of road administration in urban areas, round manhole covers are generally used, because round manhole covers are not easy to tilt and can better protect the safety of pedestrians and vehicles. However, those used in the countryside and cable wells generally use square shapes, which can better prevent the entry of liquids such as rainwater. The main application fields of ductile manhole covers are municipal roads, highways, communications, electricity, tap water, residential areas, schools and other parks.
Processing
Ductile iron manhole cover is sprayed with anti-rust asphalt paint on the surface, which is a commonly used paint for castings. In addition, when the ductile iron manhole cover leaves the factory, it is polished and ground to remove the surrounding burrs, and then processed by a lathe. It is always used to cover pipes, tree pools, etc. Moreover, ductile iron cover is more durable and corrosion resistant than traditional one, while also being stronger and more durable. It has more than 30 years service life without crack and color fading.
